A bit about me

I’m Poncho,

I was born in Mexico and studied psychology, then moved to New Zealand, where I stayed for over ten years.

I worked mostly in people-focused roles like training, coaching, and recruitment. I worked in very different environments from restaurants to professional services. I’ve always been interested in people, how we think, and the choices we make.

I continued studying alongside my work, did a lot of coaching, and eventually trained as a counsellor.

Now I run my own private practice.

I'm a trained counsellor and accredited member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).

  • Evidence-based tools (CBT, ACT and Solution-focused)
